This is a very lovely and beautifully elegant new Malbec from the famed Dona Paula estate. This high altitude wine is brimming with the variety of characters and fruit purity that can only be achieved in this region. The nose is intense with black cherries, plum, tobacco and cedar.
On the palate, the fruit takes the lead, with plum, blackberry and liquorice. Round and soft tannins, finish off what is a really lovely wine. Great value!

90+ points WA: "The floral and expressive 2019 Estate Malbec matured in used French oak barrels for 10 months, but the oak does not play a part in aromas or flavours, and the wine is very fruit-driven and juicy, softly textured and with some fine chalky tannins. Very pleasant and easy to drink. 500,000 bottles."
