(91) Les Sarrins Cotes de Provence Rosé 2021 (Provence)
Pale pink with a hue of copper. A delicate and typical Provence rosé, made up mostly of grenache and cinsault. It shows lovely notes of white flowers, citrus and peach. The finish is long and linear. A wine that will still reward you a year from now. ($25) BD
90 points VP: "Put this one down as the style we fell in love with. It’s the kind of rosé that grabbed us as a drinking culture when wines from Provence first hit our palates. There are wafts of peach with white flowers on the nose. It’s refreshing and light on the palate with a slight amount of creaminess and a calm, well-balanced natural acidity. All leading to a dry and crisp finish. And to top it all off, there is just enough body to hold everything together. Classic. Break out the aioli and shellfish."
Les Sarrins (Lay-Saa-Ruhn) Cotes de Provence Rosé is a wine of beautiful balance with delicate floral romas and notes of white peach and fresh citrus on the palate. The vineyards benefit from the sunshine of the Provencal climate and are located between the Mediterranean sea and The Alps, providing the perfect micro climate for producing world class Rosé.
Pale pink in color, pale rose petals, bright and clear. The nose is fine and delicate, with white peach aromas combined with citrus notes and floral nuances. The palate is ample and fresh with notes of peach, strawberry, and a long finish with violet notes.
