The Borgogno family's holdings have been in Barolo for over a century, encompassing about 12 hectares of vineyards in some of the region's most prestigious crus: Cannubi Boschis, Preda, Sarmassa, I Merli, San Giovanni, and Costa delle Rose. The "Noi" (meaning "we/us" in Italian) is a blend of grapes from these vineyards, serving as an expression of all the Barolo terroirs cultivated by Virna Borgogno. While some French oak is used at the winery, this particular bottling is primarily aged in traditional Slovenian botti grandi, allowing the pure character of the Nebbiolo grape to shine.
